What is typefasterjoel?

Funny story, while working on a project with my colleagues I was designing a motion graphics piece for a motion show. However, the computer that I was working with began to slow down due to the high resolution graphics being used. As a result I had to type slower some of the text that would be implemented in order to ensure that no typos were written. At this time one of my college began saying: “Type faster Joel! Type faster Joel!” knowing that my computer was being slow  and I couldn’t stop laughing at the fact that each letter would take its “sweet” time to show up in the screen.

That’s the literal version, here’s a little more philosophical version…

The brand “typefasterjoel” just encompasses all that I work for; quality. I currently am able to do graphic, web, interactive, and motion graphic design. I strife for quality products and user experience whenever I work in any project of mine. A project for a client also becomes a project for me. When a client comes to me with their situation, it is my duty to ensure that I can deliver a product that will meet all of the client’s need and provide a pleasant user experience for the end-user that will see and use this product. Even when under pressure, I strive for excellency so that the end-result will be a successful one. This doesn’t stop here, I also take any chance that I get to continue learning about new technologies out there. Technology evolves everyday and it continues to surprise me even more; never becoming dull.
